My name is Meredith Abercrombie, and I am a recent graduate of Appalachian State University. I received a degree in public relations, along with a double minor in marketing and political science. During my time in college, I learned a lot about my passions and what I truly feel is most important in life.

Through my communications courses, I discovered that I love public speaking and advocating for groups who often do not have a voice. I have a passion for connecting with people and discussing new ideas and innovations.

During my four years in college, I was a member of the club ultimate frisbee team. While creating lifelong friendships and memories, I learned about leadership techniques and how to motivate a team. The experience was one of the most rewarding things I have received in college.

Additionally, I have discovered my sincere appreciation for the environment. I was blessed to attend a college that lies along the Blue Ridge Mountains. Living in this mountain oasis has taught me the importance of preservation and education about the threats facing our environment. I want to work for an organization that values the environment as much as I do, and fights to protect it.
